Henry Lonsdale is Founder and CEO/President of California Payroll. He is responsible for the overall vision and operations of the company, as well as new business development.
Henry’s first experience in Human Resources was with Standard-Rent-A-Car where he started as a management trainee and, in less than one year, was promoted to Branch Manager, where he opened the branch office and quickly turned it into a profitable operation. He eventually was promoted to the company’s Director of Recruiting and Training.
Henry started his Payroll career as a sales representative with Paychex. While with Paychex, Henry’s sales performance consistently remained in the top 7% of the company’s national payroll sales team. He earned numerous sales awards, including Circle of Excellence.
Previously, Henry was Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales for Precise Pay, where the company was recognized by the Independent Payroll Providers Association as the fastest growing independent payroll services company in the year 2000.
Henry is an active member of multiple clubs and associations, including Brentwood Rotary, Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA), American Payroll Association (APA), Independent Payroll Providers Association (IPPA), and The Payroll Group (TPG). Currently, Henry serves on the Board of Directors of the Tri-Valley Chapter of the NCHRA.
