SimpleClock: BioClock

Eliminate Employee Time Theft from Buddy Punching

The BioClock system is an easy-to-use, plug-and-play solution for today’s biometric needs.  It may be used as a stand-alone method of collecting labor time data, or it can be used in partnership with all other available data collection devices, including TimeClock, TeleClock, and WebClock. BioClock's benefit: You eliminate employee time theft from buddy punching. Since employees are identified with an optical finger scan, co-workers can no longer clock out each other.

BioClock integrates with our WebClock system for convenient employee data management.  As such, BioClock provides the same employee tracking features as all other data collection devices, including employee clock prompting.

Here's how it works:

BioClock utilizes an optical finger scan to identify employees and record punch times.  It collects employee data at the time of clock in/clock out, then sends the data to the web via a standard Ethernet connection in less than 120 seconds.

Step 1: Step 2: Step 3: Step 4:
Employee initiates clock in/clock out process. Employee performs fingerprint scan. Data is verified and recorded. Data is sent to the web via Ethernet connection.

The Clock In/Clock Out Process:

The employee clock in/clock out process is virtually identical to that of the TimeClock and WebClock, with the exception of the biometric finger scan performed by BioClock to identify the employee attempting to record a punch.

Before employees can begin recording punches, their unique fingerprint must be "registered" within the system by a supervisor possessing administrative authority.

  1. You perform a one-time registration of an employee's fingerprint.
  2. The employee elects either "Clock In" or "Clock Out".
  3. The employee enters any optional labor data, including department, location, tips, etc.
  4. The employee scans finger, identity is confirmed, and the punch is recorded.
